We went through the work for this week, and started to talk about the discussion posts that he will be posting this week. His Professional Speaking professor posted something about a Puzzler, and was unclear of what he wanted, with "clues to come". We read the cases this week for his Employment Law class also.
We worked on his finance homework including cash conversion cycles, operating cycles, economic order quantity (EOQ calculations and explaining the ramifications of changing various parameters).
We did the discussion posts for his Employment Law course, as well as finished and discussed the outline for his final presentation in Professional Speaking.
We went through his Leadership syllabus and looked at assignment 1 and the final project. We also started working on the outline for his final presentation in Leadership.
We worked on his discussion group concerning Apple Computer's $1 Billion investment in the ride-haling company Didi in China and discussing the possible benefits, potential pitfalls and risk for them.
Brandon finished his homework that included a complicated problem on calculating the minimum accounts receivable to maximize profitability when contemplating a discount to clear accounts receivable and shorten the its cycle time.
Brandon has completed his Leadership course, with an A, and has started two new courses: Employment Law and Leadership 2.
We started to look at the syllabi for these courses, and the weekly requirements, and began some reading material for the discussion post for his new leadership class.
