We have one more section to review. Trevor will complete that section tomorrow and will take the chapter 6 test on Wednesday with the sub. I reminded him that he needs to be on time as the Wednesday session is only a 45 minute class.

— Student completed third and last diagnostic test (online, 7 minutes), testing for command of grammatical structures.
— Completed exercises dealing with sentence fragments (identification and correction), and subject-verb agreement. These were identified as being areas in need of improvement by the diagnostic test.
Review of literary terms and test on grammatical rules and terminology
Lesson Outline
— Selected ten literary terms unfamiliar to the the student, who was instructed to write ten corresponding sentences and subsequently utilize these sentences in a narration of two to three paragraphs. The writing of these paragraphs is timed at 15 minutes, and is meat as practice for the 40 minutes the student will have to write an essay during the AP exam.
