lesson proceded logically- some depended on previous bio knowledge and a short review was in order regarding aereobic and anaerobic respiration and energy production within a cell
We discussed the use of the calculator on the SAT--including the importance of fresh batteries! We reviewed working with fractions and found a way on the calculator to change a decimal to a fraction. We discussed factors and multiples, as well as squares, cubes, square roots and cube roots.
We discussed the sin and cosine rules and worked a few examples on the Elmo. We then reviewed the Product and Quotient Rules and worked example of problems using the latter. We also worked a problem in which we found a velocity function by taking the derivative of the position function.
