Step 3 -- Review
Lesson Outline
Hunter reviewed reading multi-syllabic words. He did a much better job today decoding the words from this step. He spelled 9/13 real words correctly. He used the spell checker to correct the misspelled words. At this point in the Wilson Language Program, using a spell checker is acceptable. He spelled 5/5 nonsense words correctly. He will be post tested on step 3 at the next session.

Step 3
Lesson Outline
The lesson focus was reading multi-syllabic words. Hunter practiced reading the word cards and had no difficulty. He was given words to read that were divided into syllables and read them with ease. When Hunter began reading the words for charting it was more problematic for him. The instructor marked the syllables for him to enable him to read several of the words. We will work on reading these words again at our next session.
