Colson read about and viewed/filled in diagrams for the terms focus, epicenter, fault, deformation and elastic rebound. He watched a video of animating elastic rebound and real footage of an earthquake at a fault. He used a map of tectonic plate boundaries and earthquake locations to answer questions.
