Teddy completed his interactive calendar. He read and discussed all his vocabulary words. He finished his phonics activity. He learned about adjectives and used this information to complete an activity describing ants. He began to put together his battery-operated plane.
Colson completed the lab "Return to Form" where he made a mold and cast of a shell. He read about, and we discussed, the following fossil types: mineralization, carbonization, molds and casts, trace fossils and original material.

Libby completed her interactive calendar. She read and discussed her vocabulary words. She worked on her phonics activities. She learned about adjectives, and learned how to use adjectives to describe ants. She began to put together her battery-operated plane.
Nico read, discussed, and took notes on the concepts of gravity and friction. He performed several experiments proving gravity and air resistance. He completed his interactive calendar.
Colson completed Lesson 1 Launch "Endless Fossi-bilities" and Encounter the Phenomenon "How do Whale pelvic bones show evidence of evolution?" and "How do fossils, such as Tiktaalik, provide evidence of evolution?" We discussed whale and fish evolution, and fossil evidence of each.

Aiden read and watched a video about lenses, convex and concave lenses. He analyzed diagrams of a convex lens producing converging rays and a concave lens producing diverging rays.
