Today, Jeron competed his strawberry writing project. Next, we went to the backyard meditation garden and talked about writing with our senses. From his observations, Jeron decided to write a 3 scene short story about ants who live in a town called Twigville.

Today we discussed why writing can be difficult sometimes. We discussed ways to let go into the writing process and enjoy it. Then I discussed how really good writing focuses on describing the five senses. Through our conversation, Jeron shared that he loves eating strawberries. Jeron then wrote a paragraph about the joy of eating a strawberry. We created a strawberry cut out of construction paper, and Jeron began transferring his prose to the sheet.
