Discuss the major characteristics of the tropical rainforest biome. Include locations, temperature variations, precipitation, trees and shrubs found in the biome. Discuss the fertility of the soil due to decomposition, but rapid uptake by the trees and plants. Indicate how the fertility of the soil renders it perfect for agriculture by clearing and cutting trees. Discuss what happens when the fertility of the soil diminishes, and steps which are taken to help prevent it.
