Hunter will use copic markers to create his first rendering of his graffiti name. He will not be given any guidance for this assignment is based on self-expression and his understanding of design. We will use this in a future assignment and recreate it digitally along with three other versions.
Assignment
Hunter is to collect 20 -25 images that will be used in the final development of his website. Resource sites for stock photos have been given to Hunter. Assignment is due 2/27/2018
Hunter will work in Photoshop to create a 2 inch x 3.5 inch business card. The required elements for the card are company logo, name, title, phone number, address, and website. Hunter will learn how to add backgrounds, shape tools and layer capacity. Using all of the tools he will create three designs, of which one will become his actual business card.
I will introduce Hunter to Marcos Lemonis, business saving entrepreneur. In the video we will be introduced to a business owner that has lost his way and is need of Marcus Lemonis' help to stop his business from closing in two weeks.
Hunter and I will go over the meaning of time management, how it affects day-to-day operations, along with taking a look at positive and negative versions of time management.
Hunter and I will go over a game plan for finishing up his website project.
What goes into drilling a well for a residential home? Which is better OSB or plywood? These questions and more are answered in today's class. Good session.
Hunter will be working on the last page of his website, the home page. Hunter will create a the first impression, introduction paragraph for his website. The paragraph should be descriptive and professional. The paragraph should include, service areas, and qualifications. Hunter will be given examples of other contracting website's introduction paragraphs from http://www.willoughbyconstruction.com/ and https://surfsidecontracting.com/.
Assignment
Hunter will collect a minimum of 25 images that revolve the subject matter covered in his website. All images must be ready by next sessions. (Hunter has been given a series of websites that he can gather stock images)

How does one HS honor it's fallen Football player with a weight room renovation? Hunter's idea of a stun tazer gun for all teachers to possibly prevent further school shootings. All these topics and more researched in today's class. Great session.
Hunter will create the main services page, a page that will act as a hub for all of the work that his company can provide to a potential customer. Hunter will go to Pexels.com to find stock photos that reflect particular services. Hunter will place all pictures and text for the page. Lastly, we will go over creating, adding, and placing webpage template areas. He will see how the tool helps speed up production/creation.
