Following up on the chapter of Bill Nye's book, "Why the Bow Tie?," today was dedicated to finding out more about the history of neckties (and developing Will's research skills). Will is creating a Mind Map, a graphic organizer that is new to him, and explored two ancient occurrences of neckties (terra cotta army in China--201 BCE and Trajan's army in 113 CE). We shall continue with this tomorrow in order to further engage in the research process.
