Lesson Comments
Carolyn took my place after 30 minutes, since I had to leave early just today.
Today, Robin and I began our new book: the bestselling memoir by Mitch Albom titled "Tuesdays With Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson." We discussed characterization (personalities, perspectives, and actions). She answered all of my recall, inference, and analysis questions correctly.
Today, Robin and I reviewed indefinite pronouns, antecedents, pronoun-antecedent agreement, hyphens, en dashes, and em dashes, using several exercises in her grammar text. I introduced her to the writing of Emily Dickinson. We read two poems and watched a video biography.
Assignment
Prepare three Dickinson poems to teach me on Tuesday.
