Jared and I began by reviewing a biography of Tennessee Williams, and then we moved on to a new short story by Flannery O'Connor: "Good Country People". We discussed characterization, motives, plot, and predictions.
Today, I gave Talpa a basic introduction to Ibsen's play, "A Doll's House". This is our next/last reading, as she is exactly on schedule with her class.

Talpa and I met via Skype today. We finished Williams's "A Streetcar Named Desire," and answered several comprehension and analysis questions. I focused on showing her the value of using direct quotations from the text to prove her claims.
