During today's session, a review and remediation of Similar Triangles problems was conducted to clarify and reinforce comprehension due to difficulties on a recent exam. This session was highly beneficial to Aiden.

IXL Geometry and various Worksheets practice problems. Today's skills class with Aiden was a necessary and beneficial review/remediation practice session with Similar Triangles and Exterior Angles of Triangles. Aiden's skills definitely improved as a result of this extra practice.

Hexagon. Explanation and demonstration of 30-60-90 right triangle relationships. Aiden was well focused and intensely connected with today's review/reinforcement of similar Figures and Exterior Angles in Triangles.

Determining Compound Areas and Perimeters using Algebra: Practice problems on composite/combined areas using Algebra formulas and expressions. 10-minute allowance to complete a Unit Test Question. Aiden worked productively during today's review/reinforcement practice lesson on Compound Areas using Algebra formulas and expressions.

Review and practice for the Geometry/Algebra Test

Compound Areas: Determining missing dimensions and areas of composite (combined) shapes. Use of semi-circles, missing (negative) areas etc. Worksheet practice problems with various composite shapes: Rectangular, triangular, and circular/semi-circular shapes and associated area formulas. During today's session on determining compound areas and missing dimensions with various geometric shapes, Aiden had a solid grasp with the general methods but struggled a bit with frequent minor errors (oversights). Have encouraged him to proofread more often and I have no major concerns that this issue will continue.

During today's lesson on determining Sectors of Circles and compound shapes using Algebra, Aiden was well-focused and attentive.
