We continued to work on Kaitlin's essay discussing the extent to which the Industrial Revolution differed in the US and Britain. First, we analyzed her introduction paragraph to identify the historical contextualization and the thesis. I next provided instruction on how to clarify the line of reasoning by including phrases such as " because or as a result of , or due to" .From there Kaitlin then drafted her next paragraph explaining labor and government sponsorship in Great Britain.
