In this session we completed exam I ACT prep. I think the trig review was most important because Chelsea has not studied trigonometry as a functions approach.
In this activity we focused on her exam review exercise. We graphed several quadratics using -b/2a and we also determined the zeros of the function using the quadratic formula.
In this session, we were preparing for an exam on quadratics. We were graphing quadratic functions in standard form by converting to vertex form. We also determined the zeros of the functions by using quadratic formulas. We finished the activity determining the inverse of quadratic equations.
In this activity, we started with quadratics determining vertex form and graphing and calculator apps. We ended the activity continuing to work on one of the ACT exams.
In this activity, we completed 60 percent of the first exam. We also talked about calculator strategies, along with how to guess strategies, and reading strategies to eliminate some of the wordiness.
