Grammar, novel study - "Freckle Juice" by Judy Blume
Lesson Outline
Kip and I began our session with Kip completing a grammar activity on subject pronouns. He did extremely well. Kip then read aloud chapter 4 from "Freckle Juice" by Judy Blume. I then read aloud chapter 5. Together, we completed assignments reviewing the summary and vocabulary of these chapters. We ended our session with a donut and playing chess. Kip is a wonderful student. I will miss working with him.

Math - Kelcy practiced applying the tools, representations, and concepts he has learned in order to solve two-step word problems using all four operations. He completed all of the assigned work from St. Catharine’s School and then he did several 2-step word problems to help ensure his comprehension of the process.
Kip completed a grammar test on adverbs, adjectives, and negatives. He did extremely well. Kip then completed a vocabulary activity, identifying definitions for words in chapters 4 & 5 of our novel study, "Freckle Juice" by Judy Blume.
