Great session today. Abby was forthcoming with comments from the speaker on Monday. She was spot on with her examples and the relationship to the material we have covered.
Today we had a guest speaker who shared his story and experience when driving under the influence. He provided a lot of examples that we were able to discuss following his presentation. Abby was quick to pick up on and share that he disclosed having no therapy and his comment about distancing himself from the incident.

Today, we continued with variables and included the extraneous variable. This allowed for a detailed discussion around controlling the experiment, the subjects and as many factors as possible to ensure the findings are a result of the independent variable. We also began discussing the ethical guidelines established by the APA.
