I met Claire for the first time on Monday and we worked on her chemistry for her science class. There was some confusion about the review sheets in the front of her binder. She seemed convinced that chapter 4 had already been completed. I worked with her understanding of Atom, Ions and Isotopes. She has fairly good understanding of these topics and I gave her many examples to indicate that it was not just memorizing but understanding the difference that will ultimately help her on her test on Friday.
Claire and I began her pre-writing for her essay due after spring break. We began with pre-K and she listed memories for each grade through fifth. We need to finish the pre-writing. Claire then finished her French homework. I briefly asked her a few history questions for Chapter 10.
I enjoyed working with Claire.
