Rory and I revised and edited his film review. We discussed the difference between revising and editing.We watched a brief video with the author Jason Reynolds discussing the writing of our next book A LONG WAY DOWN.

Rory was absent this afternoon.

Rory and I completed our viewing of the film. We then began writing our film review. Rory used the web site Book Rags to get the correct names of the character and the correct names for the setting. Rory did a good job.

In this activity, Rory focused on solving rational functions that
were solved with a quadratic equation. These functions would produce 0,1 or 2 solutions depending on the quadratic formed.

In this activity, Rory was going to work on linear systems.

Rory and I had a shortened period today, so we chose two current events to discuss how they applied to economics as a whole. 1. The costs associated with charging for or banning the use of plastic bags, and 2. How the Coronavirus is affecting the global economy.

Rory and I continued viewing the film. We also reviewed the requirements for the film review that he is writing.We discussed the plot and characters. We began to analyze the graphic organizer so that he is ready to write his paper.

In this activity, we worked on review exercises. Rory focused on rational equations and factoring trinomials a=1.

Rory was absent.

Rory and I were to finish the film and begin the review.
