In this activity, Anna determined continuity by using three key steps; 1) determine if the function has value, 2) determine if the limit exists and 3) Is the value of the function equal to the limit?
In this activity, Anna worked with logarithmic differentiation. Anna would differentiate a complicated derivative by first exercising the three basic rules of logarithms and then differentiating this easier function with which to work.
In this activity, Anna reviewed the rules of exponential and logarithmic differentiation. This review also included exponentials and logarithms other than base e.
In this activity, Anna again worked with the various derivative rules. She once again determined tangent lines. Anna also started a calculus exam but just completed five problems.
In this activity, Anna practiced with the various rules of differentiation. She also determined the value of the function and equations of tangent lines.
In this activity, Anna used both methods to approximate function values of radical and cubic equations. She also used differentials to estimate error in measurement of circular prism.
In this activity, instead of using local linear approximation for estimation, Anna used differentials to accomplish the same purpose. We ended class by working on three problems using differentials.
