Ben spent his time in class creating a sprite.

He first looked for a reference art piece on which to base his sprite.

He then created the color palate that he would use for this project. After laying out his palate he placed a grid on the top and sides of his digital workspace.

He was able to lay out the sprite starting with the head and moving down the body taking different shades into account based on lighting.

He also laid out one digital card during our session.

Libby painted a canvas various shades of purple.

During her painting process, she was asked to mix up a number of hues of purple by mixing her base purple with increasing amounts of white and/or black paint.

She did an excellent job of mixing and of choosing a wide range of hues for her work.

She was encouraged to experiment and to think for herself during the exercise.

Jason was absent.

Aiden worked on his landscape for the duration of class.

Jason worked on his color theory self portrait.

PJ and I worked on his figure drawing for the duration of class.

Aiden worked on his landscape in tints and shades of green.

Teddy worked on his landscape painting using only tints and shades of red.

Christopher started his landscape painting project using only tints and shades of a solid hue.

Colson and I worked step by step on his figure drawing project.
