design fundamentals. Alexa is currently working on her painting of a "still life", in the style of Cezanne. This piece will show the use of the "elements" of shape and form. She will accomplish this by the use of shadows and shading.

design fundamentals. Marcos is currently working on a painting to show the style of the artist, Kandinsky. He is using lines and shapes, and also a "limited" pallet for colors. He will also add this artist to his notebook.

design fundamentals. Jayne is currently interested in ancient Egyptian art forms. So, we are using that interest to create several art pieces in the style of Ancient Egypt.

design fundamentals. Baylie finished her "pop" art project today, and worked on two new paintings. One is a "value" painting, using only black and white, and showing the gray tones in-between. She also started one, to show the use of "warm" colors, by mixing red, orange, and yellow.

design fundamentals. Alexa is finishing up her painting project of the "Eiffel Tower." She also is currently working on a new painting in the style of Cezanne. It is a still life painting. She added this information to her notebook on this new artist.

design fundamentals. Yanuell is currently working on developing three projects, to show the use of symmetrical, asymmetry, and radial designs. He will also include this information in his notebook. He started a painting, today, to show the use of "symmetrical" balance.

design fundamentals. Henry finished his "mosaic" design, using soup beans, today. He then did a beautiful drawing of a "praying mantis." He really enjoys doing drawings and sketches.

design fundamentals. Jayne finished her "Skull Candy" creation and started a new drawing of a dragon. She is adding colors to this new drawing.
