design fundamentals. Dylan finished his "primary color" design. He then started a new painting of a butterfly using his "primary colors only, and mixing the colors to make his "secondary" colors.
design fundamentals. Charlie had an art class today. He worked on three "value" paintings. One was black and white and grey tones, the other was black, white, and purple. The last one was using the primary colors, red, blue, and yellow.
design fundamentals. Jayne worked on her three parrot paintings today. She chose some very bright and colorful paints to use on it. She also did some free drawings.
design fundamentals. Ben finished his "line design" today. He added all the necessary colors with colored pencils, and is going to use his finished creation as a gift for mom on Mother's Day.
design fundamentals. Christopher is currently working on a "value" painting, using black and white only. His subject is the Mona Lisa. He also did a painting of the Pokemon character, Pikachu.
design fundamentals. Dylan finished painting the backgrounds for his "Pop Art" project today. We will now put it together to have a finished "Andy Warhol" look.
design fundamentals. Andrew had an art class today. He created a design to show the use of primary colors, red, blue, and yellow, with the "elements" of lines, and shapes. He also showed that when you mix your primary colors together, you create the secondary colors, green, purple, and orange.
design fundamentals. Ben has been working on his "line design." He is still filling in the colors by using colored pencils. Then we will move on to another project to finish out the school year.
design fundamentals. Christopher finished his background on his "Sonic" painting. He then did a painting of "Shadow", including the background. He will begin a "value" painting next week of the Mona Lisa.
