Today, we started working on Section 8.6 "Determining the APR". We read the lesson, Lena took her notes and we worked together on one example, then Lena worked independently to solve several practice questions.

During today's Math class, we made a lot of progress. We completed lesson 8.4 and lesson 8.5. Working on these lessons, Lena had the opportunity to practice subtracting and multiplying decimals, finding percentages, learning how to work out the payment to interest, and calculating the new balance. She also learned how to compute the final payment off a simple interest installment loan.

During today's Math class, we continued working on Section 8.4. We covered several examples and Lena worked independently on several questions answering all of them correctly.
