Lesson Comments
Brooke did great with her story development so far. We began settling on Amelia Earhart as the model for her female lead character. We are still unsure about the cultural models or who the villains are in her story - these need to be decided soon but can evolve along the way. The biggest hole so far is the missing driver for the hero's quest. We have some of the details down but not the big part. I introduced Brooke to the pareto principle as a means of encouraging her to keep moving forward and not worry about all the details of the backstory. I think she comprehended the 80/20 rule and the importance of forward progress in such a large assignment.

Brooke is doing great and understands the concepts we should be employing in her character design. She didn't do her previous night's homework due to a family party but I think she'll be able to catch up easily before next Tuesday. Brooke is great to work with and is focusing well on the steps of the project.
