Batt School Field Day Events

In today’s class, we just focused on last day activities that need to be completed, such as cleaning out Joshua's room and organizing as needed.

Joshua stayed back at his office to gather his belongings while the rest of the school participated in field day.

In today’s class, we started cleaning out Joshua’s room. This included getting all of his things together and making sure he was cleaned and packed up for the rest of the year.

Joshua was absent today.

Discussed the weekend using the past tense in German and then wrote a paragraph about it.

Joshua spent the majority of the period with Ms. Nicole working out college plans. When Joshua returned to class we had just a little time left to work on SAT Math Prep.

Joshua worked on finishing the body of the Junior Research paper during today's session. We further discussed my additional comments to his draft, focusing on using transitional phrases or words, incorporating more commentary, and reordering sentences in some of the paragraphs.

In today’s class, we continued on learning about some basic subjects in organic chemistry. We finished going over all of the important functional groups, including ethers, halides, and nitro-containing compounds. We also practiced what we learned about saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons and how they react in reactions.
