Summer math work
Lesson Outline
Paige and I worked on her summer math homework. We covered over 15 topics. Paige is great at multiplication & division, distributing algebraic expressions, solving for missing angles, reflecting shapes over the x and y axis, and classifying triangles. Paige needed extra help adding and subtracting signed numbers and plotting coordinate points. Paige needs to earn 80% to complete her summer math work. At the beginning of our session, she was at 60%. By the end of the session, she was at 65%. Paige and I completed many mini-lessons on over 15 topics, but the percentage goes up very slowly. I recommend two 1.5 hour sessions or three 1 hour sessions together to complete her summer work.

Summer Assignment Help
Lesson Outline
Paige’s summer assignment is an intensive review of all PreAlgebraic concepts. Today, we worked on Statistics, Probability, and Geometry.
She did very well. When beginning a problem, she seemed to lack confidence. She doubted that what she was thinking was correct, but the majority of time she was right!! With our short time together, I will try to help her break down those walls, have her realize she’s much more capable than she thinks.
