David Daniel "Mickey" Marcus was a United States Army colonel who later became Israel's first General. Prior to helping Israel, Marcus was a principal architect of the U.S. military's World War II civil affairs policies, including the organization of the war crimes trials in Germany and in Japan. He assisted Israel during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, becoming Israel's first modern general. He was killed by friendly fire in 1948 and is buried in the military cemetery in West Point, NY.

In today's class, we continued our discussion on anatomy and physiology, including talking about directional and anatomical terminology. We talked about some of the common terms he will be seeing in our anatomy lessons and we did some practice with them at the end.
Continue working on Disproving Fake News Essay. Based on the feedback I gave Cameron in yesterday's session, he continued making revisions by following a checklist. He used the full session and was able to turn his essay in at the end of class.
9-3 Rewriting Radical Expressions – We learned to use the product property of square roots to rewrite radical expressions. Then we compared 2 radical expressions. Next we multiplied 2 radical expressions. We multiplied radicals under the square root and simplified the answer. Then we learned to write a radical expression to model or represent a real-world problem.
