We researched different cap designs and Richard selected a design that he would like to sew. We bookmarked it and Richard will begin to work on it in sewing class once all the materials are assembled (fabric/pattern, etc). He also demonstrated how to thread a needle and sewed some stitches on a piece of cloth, with excellent precision and concentration. For the remaining few minutes of class, Richard and I played a game of "Spot it" - an academic visual discrimination game. We enjoyed a fun and productive session.

I subbed for Barbara this afternoon, Wednesday 2/08/23, from 2 - 2:45 - sewing.
Richard helped to get the apron ready for sewing down the seams. We pinned the seams and ironed them. Now the apron is ready for him to help sew the seams next week.
Richard helped to adjust the apron pattern to fit him. We then placed the pattern on the fabric, and made sure it was placed correctly on the fold. He then cut out the pocket by himself, and helped cut out the apron. He picked out which decal he wanted to iron on to the apron.
