Today we covered different types of businesses (e.g., small businesses, large businesses, scalable businesses) and entrepreneurship styles (e.g., hustler, innovator, imitator, buyer, researcher) and how these styles both converge and overlap. We reviewed and discussed definitions of entrepreneurship and discussed how economics informs entrepreneurship. We reflected on different applied examples of business types in the fitness industry. Bobby's homework assignment is to choose a start up and answer both factual and reflective questions about the business.
Matthew and I spent the class confirming his registration for DE ECO2013 Microeconomics at PBSC. His account is up and running and he can easily access his coursework. His bookstore account is still not active and so we reached out to the main campus bookstore in Lake Worth and spoke with Ms. Bender who has confirmed that she will create his Spring DE Bookstore account and email us confirmation so that he can go online and order his books.
We explored PBSC's Microeconomics Canvas site, noted the dates for the exams and started planning how many modules per week need to be done for each exam. For example, Exam 1 covers modules 1-5 and is to be taken Oct 11.

Matthew was on-time and prepared. He and I reviewed the new procedures for ordering dual enrollment textbooks through the PBSC bookstore system. We encountered a glitch when purchasing and will continue to follow up until his books are purchased.
