I only have time to do reading or spelling during his session because he doesn't work as quickly as the video takes the class. He needs lots of practice on sounding out and using his phonics to spell.
Jase practices his spelling words orally. He did the skill sheets as he participated with the video.

Since I can't do everything in 45 minutes, I need to find out when Jase's mother has to submit his work for the first quarter. That way I will know my deadline.
Jase wrote each verb in the different tenses. We said the verbs aloud in each tense before writing so that he could demonstrate an understanding of the lesson.
Jase finished writing the answers to yesterday's questions. We reviewed his spelling words and did a portion of the video. Then we did a video for reading.

It is difficult to spend the time Jase needs on reading and spelling and keep the pace that is set with the videos.
Jase worked on writing Pp, Qq, and Rr in cursive today. We started the Spelling lesson. We watched the video. I encouraged him to try to write the words because it was a pretest, but he said that he would be writing the words and definitions when he got to his mom's work, since he hasn't learned these words yet.
