We played some rhythm games on the snare drum practice pad, and talked about good stick grip and drum striking technique. We played some say it-play it rhythms and made up rhythms based upon speech patterns and the syllabic flow of certain words. We played a rhythm follow the leader game. We played some on the electric keyboard and talked about high pitches, low pitches, harmony, and dissonance.

The twins went home not feeling well today.

Today we learned numbers from 1 to 10 in Spanish and 4 colors.

Libby enjoyed listening and discussing stories by Jan Brett.
