The relationship between energy and work was outlined first as a general topic in physics. Electrical power was then shown to be related to the current and the voltage. The formula Power = Voltge x Current was given, and the units for each shown, along with the fact that these units together are called Watts. A few examples of determining wattage was given, as well as determining current and/or voltage if wattage is given. Calculation of the sum of wattage from 2 different appliances on the same line will cause a fuse (breaker) to shut the line was discussed. The property of electric energy, different from electric power, was shown as a rate, involving time. Electric energy = power(kw) x time(hr) which gives the kilowatt hour.
