Dylan and I worked on the basic concept of multiplication, using arrays and quick pictures to represent equal groups. Together, we made real world scenarios involving an amount of objects needing to be shared equally among friends. Dylan drew a quick picture to represent the number of friends before placing the number of objects to be shared equally into each group. Then, he used repeated addition of find the total in all. We also discussed the rules of multiplying by 0 and 1 along with how to multiply by 2 by doubling the other number. To finish, Dylan solved multiplying by 0, 1, and 2 facts.
