Danny continued learning about habitats today. We discussed the grasslands and that they are found in Africa and he found Africa on his map. We talked about what animals he would see if he went on a safari and he made predictions about the animals. We read a passage on the grasslands and the environment and animals. He did a cut and paste activity where he matched animals such as a black mamba, elephant, cheetah, hippo, and giraffe to their names and he challenged himself to remember the animals and write them on a graphic organizer without looking at the pictures.
