Jack excitedly and happily initiated transition to his room this session. He actively participated in all tasks presented, as a clear sequence of activities was provided. Supportive redirection was again provided to assist with task closure and transition, as attentional focus was observed to significantly shift rapidly. Provision of opportunities to engage with materials in novel ways was embedded within tasks this session as a platform to encourage dynamic thinking and creative collaboration. Strong focus on categorical inclusion and exclusion as well as use of descriptive concepts continued to be highlighted this session. Additionally, varied patterned movement sequences were also embedded within activities with a focus on enhancing successful execution of cross pattern sequences.
Brief discussion with mom allowed for further discussion regarding recommendations for a developmental visual assessment.
