Vlad and I spent time discussing his background. He shared his experience in school with me as well as his goals and aspirations. He shared what he felt were his strengths and struggles in English. He showed me several books that he had read and enjoyed. We spoke about what opportunities exist this year in English IV and how we would explore them in order to create a rewarding and enriching experience.
