Lesson Topic
3-point perspective
Lesson Outline
I did a review with Rory about 2-point perspective. With the basics of 2-point perspective covered we dove into creating an object using 3-point perspective. He setup his layout consisting of a horizon line, 3 vanishing points and a vertical line that passed through the horizon line. He chose points on the horizon line to create the width of the object and points on the vertical line to create the height. I had him connect all the points to their respective vanishing points thus creating a three dimensional object.
Rory wrapped up the end of the class by painting his sculpture with a base coat of grey paint.
