Lesson Topic
conservation of energy
Lesson Outline
The law of conservation of energy states that energy is neither created or destroyed, but can be transformed. The net energy present at the start must equal the net energy at the finish. Any change in energy will be shown as light,or heat, or some other form of energy. The potential energy of an object is converted to kinetic energy as the object moves, the kinetic energy at the end is equal to the potential energy at the beginning. A few other examples were used.
