A reinforcement of the physics of circular and elliptical orbits was undertaken. It included the rate of curvature of the Earth, the effect on a projectile accelerating straight up at a given speed, how to place the projectile into orbit, the orbits formed at close Earth orbit and far Earth orbit, the potential and kinetic energy at varied points on the orbit in both circular and elliptical orbits, the laws of Keppler, and the escape velocity needed from Earth.
