Abby and I discussed the pages that she had read for homework. We answered the corresponding study guide questions. We then continued reading and discussing the novel. We are preparing to complete an author study comparing the two Kristin Hannah books. We then worked through a section in her vocabulary book. I introduced the new words; then we completed the application activities that followed. Abby did quite well. She will read more of the novel for homework.
