When I walked into Cabo's room, he was working on an essay for language arts. He was intent on completing the essay before working on any other assignment. We briefly went over the other assignments. Cabo spent most of the session working on the essay, stating he would complete the other homework at home. Once, the essay was completed, Cabo began to read for history. He said he would solve math problems at home, as well as do the reading for language arts. However, he left 'A Christmas Carol', the book he needed to read for language arts on the floor in his room when he went home. We did organize his room, putting away loose papers and books to ready his work space for tomorrow. Cabo stated that he is getting more of his homework done than in the past.
