Lesson Outline
Jonathan and I reviewed material in his daily Science Student Practice Book. We continued our discussion about the sun and reviewed prior knowledge. Today, we discussed how the sun helps plants make food and energy and how important it is in order to sustain plant and animal life on Earth. Lesson Comments
I was outdoors for the last 15 minutes of the day with Christopher, and Jonathan was outside with Ms. Michelle. It seems that Jonathan got a piece of sand or dirt in his eye. I brought him inside and rinsed his eye out with water. When his dad arrived shortly thereafter, Michelle took hiss belonging out after him. I do not know if an incident report was made out, but I suggest it should be. I subsequently texcted his mom later that night and she was at the Urgent Care. She said his eye had looked "weird" to her so she brought him in. It seems he is ok, fortunately - nothing abnormal was noted. I just wanted to let you know as I am unaware if any incident report was documented about this incident and wanted to apprise you of it.
