Review of a "C," a "B", and an "A" definition paper. Went through my checklist used to evaluate an "Definition Paper." Vlad chose "Communism" for his topic from a list of Forms of Government.Checklist: Go beyond giving definition (best cited from an authoritative source). Add: (1) discussion of three historic examples; (2) discuss what the term is not; contrast contrasting term; (4) discuss the topic's strengths and weaknesses. Went over how to cite an authority in the text of a paper. Vlad to take what we outlined and turn it into a good first draft.
