Abby and I continued our study of the novel. We discussed the pages that she had read for homework. We answered some of the discussion/study guide questions. We talked about the author, and why she set the story where she did. We discussed in detail the setting, and the role that it continues to play throughout the novel. We just touched on the topic of theme as Abby advances further into the novel. Abby will read more of the novel for homework.
