Sophia hadn't done her homework on George Washington, so we moved straight into the lesson. Read about the droughts, lack of trees and lumber, and the materials sent over by factories on the East that helped Plains farmers get by. Also diagrammed Industrial Revolution.

It was clear that Sophia was extremely tired in class. She appears to be overwhelmed by her other classes. I gave her time to read in class, as opposed to read for homework, and followed up with an in-class quiz. She only received a 38% on it though, most likely due to her tiredness.
