Lesson Outline
Gabbie and I started the session reading A Series of Unfortunate Events. The plot continues! We accomplished the following Orton-Gillingham activities: phonological awareness exercise, Alpha Chip sequencing, and Sound Deck review. We reviewed the FSA questions. I read aloud a sample FSA passage, and Gabbie successfully answered all comprehension questions. I am pleased with her confidence and attitude.

I brought the book outside for the fire drill, so we didn't miss any time. Gabbie showed more confidence with vowel teams, silent E, and R controlled syllables. Honestly, I think that she is finally attending. I am bothered by her rude behavior. Maybe I am a prude? She refuses to clean up after herself, intentionally passes gas, etc. I don't enjoy that aspect of working with her.
