Lesson Outline
We worked on some basic "say it play it" rhythms using words and phrases related to tropical birds in which Jonathan showed some interest. He was able to be very creative in coming up with some of his own rhythms based upon the syllabic flow and cadence of the spoken phrases and words. We worked on some hand coordination necessary to begin playing basic drum beats.
