The nature of the magnetic field was presented from the atomic view. The electron arrangement of atoms was reviewed from chemistry and the different spins of the electrons presented. It was shown that a moving charge produced a small magnetic field, while a current produced a larger magnetic field. A video showing the spins was viewed, along with the reasoning behind why most objects are not magnetic.
