Abby and I worked on a new set of vocabulary words. Abby made some mini flash cards to learn the words. We also completed some of the application activities. Abby and I discussed the chapter that she had read for homework. We discussed plot development and author's purpose.We had a detailed discussion on the setting of the story also. We also answered some discussion/study guide questions. Abby will continue reading the novel for homework.
